About Susan Stern of Live Now Coaching

Susan Stern, CPCC is a Personal Success Coach who works with individuals and organizations in times of change and transition. She travels nationally speaking, leading workshops and retreats on Academic/Work/Life Balance, Time Management, Transitions, Relationships and What’s Next.  Susan helps her clients find clarity and direction, better life balance, reduce stress, increase happiness and reconnect with their inner spirit.

Susan challenges people to shift perspectives, bust old patterns, become focused, and open up to new possibilities. From this new place, she then helps them redesign their vision while remaining true to their core values and mission, whether personal or professional.

Susan understands the rapid pace of change in the 21st century.   Her life embodies change; she grew up overseas and traveled worldwide until the age of 13, and has lived in eight different states since returning to the United States.  As a business owner and mother to 3 boys and 2 step children, Susan is constantly having to work through time management skills and planning what’s next!  She started her own business, Live Now, in 2005 and is living her dream of empowering people to make their own lives extraordinary.

Susan has her BA in International Relations.  She is a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach, CTI- trained Career & Life Coach, and an active member of ICF (International Coaches Federation). She has worked with hundreds of individual clients over the years, including corporate clients such as University of Maryland Graduate School, Johns Hopkins’ Office of Work, Life & Engagement, Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, Maryland Bar Association President’s retreat, RPCS Kaleidoscope Adult Learning, Glen Elg Country School Adult Enrichment, and Goucher College.

Susan’s strong belief in “giving back” and living into her values inspired her to spearhead the US division of African Promise, Kids4Kenya. A charity by kids, for kids, Kids4Kenya raises money to build schools in rural Kenya but also empowers kids in the US to make a difference.  She lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband, three sons, step-daughter and step-son.
